During this 3-day event 12 US–Russia student teams worked under very tight deadlines in order to develop and present a solution to the tournament challenge.
The challenge was revealed on the 1st day of the Tournament (December 15th) and students worked in international teams of four to deliver their solutions using all the communication tools they agreed about previously, individual strengths and skills of team members that they learned about through the team-building exercises and guidelines provided help them in their team efforts. Solutions were successfully delivered on December 17th to be reviewed by experts who will provide their comments to help each team continue joint work in order to develop their ideas into concept papers. Mentors from business will give lectures and advice.
The semifinal for concept papers will be end March 2016.
